Default Water vapour in front headlight's

Hi all,

I seem to be getting water vapour in front drivers side headlight. It will dissolve after a while of having the lights on again. But soon after it reappears.

Any ideas on how to stop this from upsetting my hondas gleaming unblemished shine?

Cheers Guys and Gals.

How old is the car? if its inside warranty i would take it to the dealer to ask them to sort it.

BTW, Edit your profile so your listed as an Owner.

Starbutton, Edit profile Enter your VIN to get Owner status

Well people should be listed as Owners if they are. Noticed a LOT recently.

I had this problem - I complained to the dealer who changed it FOC even though it was out of Honda's 3 year warranty (just). It was still under the dealers warranty though so I don't know who eventually paid the bill, I know it wasn't me!

Must be worth a try as I think these units are expensive.

Just noticed some condensation at the rear lights... the car is barely 2 weeks old.... time to visit Hyndland Honda ...

This is worrying....

This is a normal operating characteristic of the zenon lighting system and is essentially driven by the coefficient of irradiation.
It is the most pronounced in small pockets of the British Isles where the barometric pressure and ground temperature exchange is at it's most critical level to induce the condition.
I've just looked it up and places the most likely are certain parts of the west and north midlands.
Whereabouts are you located?

West Midlands.

Wow. Sounds hardcore. Any ideas on how to fix it? Im sure the summer will sort it out tho.

It must be allowing in cold air in there somehow. Or are the units are sealed. So many questions......
