Powder coated brake calipers with S2000 logo
Update: We're planning to post the GB on our web site on Tuesday or Wednesday, July 24 or 25. The price will be around $290, excluding shipping. This includes the powdercoating and replacement of all the rubber and other perishable parts on the calipers. The core charge (the cost if you don't return your old calipers) will add $840 to the total, but this will not be charged unless your old calipers are not returned within a specific time period, probably two weeks.
The calipers will be available in black, red, silver, yellow, and white. If there's enough interest in blue (one that's a close match to the Monte Carlo blue available on S2000s sold overseas), we'll do that, too.
As noted elsewhere in this thread, the calipers will not be ground to remove the casting marks and the S2000 logo will not be available on them. But the thickness of the powercoating should cover over many of the casting imperfections.
James and I are working on a deal with a caliper supplier that will enable us to sell powder coated stock calipers (with an option for a powder coated S2000 logo on them like the Porsche calipers), at a very good value, and an even better value if you exchange your old calipers for the new. The powder coated calipers can withstand the heat of racing.
Basically, you
