Default MY00-03 front bumper vents.

Are there any kits out there that will turn the 2 small vents on the front bumper into brake vents for the front brakes, to cool them, and how do i take them (the plastic "vents") out at least?

My friend gave me the idea cause hes gonna be doin that with his viper.

Thanks Cone

I have the grill and vents by Coastal Metals. There are others that make them

i think a better mod would be to put fog lights there. the lights from the odyssey fit perfectly with some fiddling and come with an installation kit that you just have to splice into the S's wiring. Search for "rick hesel" because he did this conversion and i think it looks great.

Ok...but i think what he is asking is, how do you get rid of the fake vents. I want to know the same thing because I want to cut them out when I get my lip in. Also, has anyone taken out the grills that go horizontally in the middle? Thanks!

yeah- im searching for the same thing- I hate the fake grill things, and wanna get rid of them. A member at a local meet told me that he had to dremel them out, but that doesnt seems to be the best way to do this- I swear they have to pop out somehow- but im kinda scared of scratching the paint.- Also If you go to Ricks site- you will wee that the back plastic plate of the seat just pops out (I saw this while checking out the plxi inserts they sell for the seat holes)- so with that off you might be able to get the honeycomb mesh out- or at least dremel it off if you want

i think the easiest thing (which is hindsight since I did mine differently) is to get two sets (4 total) of the "wicks" aircraft flanges (i think that is what they are called).....

skip the plastic ducts..... I think "the reverend" did his with just the wicks pieces... you save some room and hassle....

Here is the link....... he did what I described.... those plastic pieces are bulky and hard to work with....
