1 month ago, my02 engine died and no start with 5700 km in front of my school--->Towed to Honda and checked ---> They found out that the barring and piston were broken--->Require: A $15000 CAD new engine--->So, tried to claim warranty, but the request was rejected...Sad
BROKEN ENGINE:
1 week later, find a lawyer to deal with Honda about the warranty...
Detail of the process: not available
Btw......
Today, my warranty and request are..............................approved....
Happy
New Engine:
Left: New Engine Right: Old Engine
Sam, the guy who is fixing my car
My02 is sleeping in Honda garage....I will come and pick you up soon baby

Are you serious? They bought a whole new longblock just because of a bad piston and a spun bearing!?!?!
Goes to show the mechanical competance of the average Honda dealer / service shop I guess....
Did they let you keep the old "junk" long block? If they did and your description of the damage was accurate (i.e. no head damage and nothing a honing wouldnt take care of on the cylinder walls), PM me I'll take it off your hands and even pay you for the shipping
EDIT: Looks like they re-used the cams so its not a full long-block, but I'll still take it off your hands none the less
