Default To buy or not to buy; '05 S2000

Okay so I'm pretty young but I really admire the S2000. Everything except the interior that is. All my friends are buying MBs and Lexuses if not SUVs, so I don't want to look cheap because of the minimalistic interior. Do you think they'll change it around a little for 2005? A friend of mine can hook me up with an LCD TV and a system, but I've been wondering what other authentic goodies you can put on the S2000? Anything to distract from the design?

Also, does anyone have pictures of their ride? I want to see what you can do with it (I'm not too big on imports so I don't know). Right now, I'm trying to decide between the S2000 and a friend's uncle's Shelby GT500. I like classics, but the S2K looks much more appealing at stop lights.

Thank you!

I think the Elise would suit you well if you want a sports car with a "luxurious" interior

I'm aware of what the S2000 is built for! So sue me, I don't like how it looks. The only reason I'm considering it is just that--the performance. I made the post so maybe you can tell me what you've installed on your car..

I don't think I can afford an Elise, I'm still 15.

there are other cars that have the performance and the looks that you like i'm sure.
if you are not 100% satisfy with the car, why buy it?
you still got little while before you can even own your First Car. so do some research and find what you like.

15 eh. Try matchbox.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Truth is: if this is your first car, the likelyhood is you would kill yourself or someone else with it. Same goes for the Shelby.

What am I missing in North Alabama where all this 15yr old's friends are buying Lexus and MB?

If you are buying a car to impress your friends, you will never succeed. Get a car that YOU want and if your friends don't like it, at least you do. If you get a car just for your friends and one of them says anything negative about it, you won't like it anymore.

Don't buy the Honda. After all, you wouldn't want to appear cheap!
This must be part of the "Two Americas" that's often talked about.
I must be living in the "other" one!
