Default Need to change my oil. Got a question

I'm looking to run Motul fully synthetic race oil, but by Friday, can only get 10W 40. Do you think this would be too heavy?

Thanx,
Chris

actually if you remember correctly, it wasn't the fact that you were running it. it was the fact that you listed your "motul oil change" sticker as a mod to your car.

go ahead and use it - 5w40 is also a recommended weight for our cars, and in high heat what i plan to use - 10w40 is fine. But why not run Red Line 5w40 or Delvac1 5w40???

Any body ever try Royal Purple 5W30. I use it in my other cars and it works great.
