For the folks who dont want to scroll the whole thread (GET SOME BANDWIDTH!) I re-listed the details of my I.C.E.

I really wanted Navigation in my car. Having seen the JDM version with the cool screen cut into the dash I knew this was the way to go for me. I found a pic of the JDM version online. I reversed the picture in Photoshop so it looked like a LHD version. I took the pic to my installer and asked if he could make my car look like this.

The shop who did all the work is right outside Philadelphia in Montgomery County. The are experienced and do incredible work. There is usually a hot car there getting some incredible show system in there.

He custom molding the bezel out of fiberglass and bondo and intergrated the frame of the monitor so it looks really built in. I could go on and on but as they say "a picture is worth a thousand words"

My site with pics of my S2k

If you get a chance go by and see the BMW X5 they are currently working on!

Just got the car back (a day early I might add) And words do not describe how happy I am with the way this installation went!

I brought in a picture of the Japanese version and asked him if he could make it look the same. He assured me with the utmost confidence he could. I have used these guys for years. if he had no doubt, I was in!

Now on to the good stuff

Pretty cool! I will not close it! I will not move it(I moved the other but did not lock it).

I am speaking to the moderators about why it was locked and no reason left behind.

Good luck! Have fun!

You've got BALLS!!!! I chickened out, on doing the same thing but I was going to use the Honda Odessey's honda (alpine) monitor. I was quoted 1000.00 to 1800.00 to have it installed like yours -the factory look) Nice job--looks great. Does the monitor come out if it breaks??

Hey Mike, I'd love to see the finished job done in person> Since I saw yours I'm actually now considering doing the Nav addition. I was used to it in my last car. I had to sell the Alpine Nav, DVD, Mini disc becuase it wouldn't fit. How much for the install and did they leave any scratches on the dash?? Let me know
