a friend of mine just took his bmw to get his curb rash (wheels) fixed- he was very happy with the results... all 4 wheels repaired while he waited (!) for less than $200.
since i get lots of questions regarding wheel repairs, i thought i would start this thread...
anyone had experiences with wheel repair places?

I had a wheel repaired once on my Audi. I don't remember where the place was. I had to ship it there. I think I found them in an ad in the back of Car & Driver magazine.

I also recently saw a news report about the danger of repaired wheels. Apparently, some wheels are not repaired correctly (or are repaired when they are really too far gone to repair) and it causes a safety issue.

They can repair OEM wheels, but probably not those with a polished lip.
