Installed replica amuse lip today... result was
. Big gaps between the lip and the front bumper....
Left.
Right.
not too noticeable from the front or side.. but once you get close to it.. it just pops out..
did anyone have such problems w/ their amuse lips?

Ya I had a replica Amuse lip also. It wasn't as bad as that but everyone that saw it noticed the gap. JL9000 has the authentic Amuse lip and it fits perfect with no gap at all.
You can also try dremeling the lip and try to shift it backwards.

honestly...you knew you were buying a replica, and off of ebay to boot....what did you expect.......but to remedy your situation...some here have filled the gap with silicon to make the gap less noticeable by filling the void.

i had this same problem with my lip, actually the gap was bigger.. i closed the gap almost completely.
What I did was take out the screw that mounts into the rear of the bumper (in the wheel well) and place lots of thick washers in there, you may need a longer screw as well. On mine i used a very thick rubber washer. Hope it works for you

I think most of the replica Amuse lips have this gap, some worse than others. I've
had two replicas from Spugen and both have a slight gap but it could be remedied
with one quick visit to a body shop for a morphing session but for the most part,
was reduced by manipulating the mounting bolts to ease the tension. If you raise
the lip too high, it seems to create that gap whereas I lowered mine and removed
some of the tension in that area and it seemed to create a tighter fit.
Unfortunately, the authentic AMUSE lip has also left gaps so go figure.
