Default Pre summer maintenence meet?

I am willing to donate my garage for an afternoon (sat or sun) next month to any of you S2kers who want to do tranny, diff fluid changes. Mirror wanted to know how to do it himself and mine is in dire need of attention also. Maybe a barbecue and a little maintenence on the cars. Quick "test drive" up white ranch? Any takers? Bring your own fluids, or I can supply them if needed. I will take care of the tools and waste oil.

Sounds great!

I need a tranny fluid change. I would like to do a valve adjustment too, but that likely won't work as the engine needs to be stone cold...

It can be done Paul, I have my ways. the head ony has to be under 100 degrees. If we put your car to the side and let it cool so the lift isnt being taken up Ill show you a way to quick cool them.

How about we plan it for the first. The second is the street machine showdown and the next weekend is mothers day so it sems like the most logical choice.

If I have a couple of valve adjustments to do that day we can just have a valve adjustment class and the cost will be minimal for materials (valve cover gasket and hondabond)
Then you can try your hand at your own or I can do yours for you for a small fee if you would rather eat chicken beer and watch.

I will just need to know how many valve adj. we are going to do so I can order the right amount of gaskets. And so I can have the enough diff fluid and tranny fluid in stock.
