Default Advan RGs

I found a pretty decent deal on a set of used Advans...however there're a few things that I'm really concerned with:

*I'm not a rims/tires/offset guru, so some of the questions might seem n00bish to pros*

1. I've heard the most offset people get are 17-7.5 48(F), 17-8.5 50

I believe those will stick out dude.

Read this thread i made for stock width and offset.

http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=190880

Put it this way. A 7.5" width rim with a 43mm offest stick out quite a bit in the front.

1. Those offsets work for stock calipers. Just make sure you get the right sizes of tires or spacers for the less than perfect F&R offset ratio.

2. You will need ~15mm spacers with longer studs for the RGs to clear the Spoons. However, I believe Wilwood offers some calipers that can be easily cleared, even by the stock wheels.

3. Stock rims can clear the Spoons with spacers and longer studs as well.

4. There really is nothing bad about small spacers. Some people run them on circuits. Then again some people are paranoid. However, I've seen quite a few extended studs break.

5. The +43s will still require smaller spacers, and the +29s stick out too much.
