dunno,
the harnesses could be different. I think you can find a USDM engine for less.

i'm sure it can be done, but its going to be a pain in the ass, since the f20c2 has less emissions equipment then the f20c1. I have the helm manual on cd which covers the f20c2 emissions equipment, which you may find useful. you'll probably need the ECU from an f20c2 car to get the wiring harness to plug into, and yes the dealer would need to reprogram the immobilizer before you can even start the car

that helms manual should be very useful!!

I did order that engine

Just hope that there would be no major problems installing it!

Wounder if i maybe can use US harness, and just plug the UK ECM right in? if the Emission parts aint supported by the ECM, isnt it just to remove em then?
Just some amateur thoughts :-) ??

Thanks
Simon

I have a F20C (JDM engine) in my USDM car. Everything is completely plug and play. The only thing different is that the JDM engine does not have a VTEC oil pressure sensor and I had to transfer that over from my original engine. Regarding ECUs, I am using my orginal USDM ECU and it works perfectly fine. I hope this helps.

BTW, the JDM F20C has 11.7:1 compression.
