just got her aligned with the new shoes-
i thought it was running just fine, but man what a diff now!!!

back to running on rails like what i remember from the first few days of driving it- maybe even tighter now.
darin did the job in just over an hour- he estimated two.
in the middle of the job he came over to me (i wanted to watch in the shop) and asked if i knew the car had been in a minor accident... he said the right rear was more out of align than the rest of the car and he could tell that the car had hit something from the side.
those of you who know the car, i power slidded it when it was fairly new (we found spring spacers after that) into a curb. i had replaced the exhaust with a spugen dual oval (had bent the stocker) and replaced the wheels with ssr gt-3s, so there is no visible sign of the slide. i told him what happened and he told me that he suggests changing the bearings and pulling the axle to see what else might need to be done. he also told me that it did not have to be done right away... honest guy-

bottom line-
darin exceeded my expectations... i will be back and will be sending you guys too!!
btw, no credit cards- cash or checks only.

My friend got his WRX aligned there -- he seemed like a genuinely caring guy. <thumbs up>

acumo, you and your friend didn't happen to be there when a silver S2000 was being aligned were you?

I also agree, Darin is a good place to get the work done. Make sure to get an appointment in advance and let him know what your driving style is like and where you most often run your car (mostly track, canyon, street, etc...).

I just lowered my car again so i will probably be calling him to set up an appointment next week sometime.

I know it's like $80 for a regular alignment, but does anyone know how much he charges for corner weighing/balancing?
