In case you don't have or haven't seen the latest BMI video "VTEC CLUB", it features a scene called "S2000 Exhaust Catalogue". Using a db mic they get data on the exhaust notes. It's pretty cool. Anyways, here's the data.... Enjoy!

stationary might be when you're just cruising, not at WOT(racing). kinda weird way of putting things.

If you watch the video, it explains that the dB readings are taken at 50cm away, 45 degrees to the right of the exhaust (or the centre of the car), and the "stationary" readings are taken at 6250rpm (as close to 70% of the 8900rpm rev range possible).

The exhaust testing can be downloaded online somewhere - perhaps someone can post the link here?
