Question about matching GPW with Dupont Powdercoating
Hey all...Here's my issue...
Last week, I dropped my wheels off to get powdercoated white.....The shop I dropped my wheels off at use Dupont powdercoating. I gave them the Factory paint code as well as the Dupont Paint code for my exterior color.
According to the shop, the Dupont powdercoat paint codes are not the same as the Dupont base coat colors. Apparently, the closest 'white' they have to match the S2000 GPW is called 'sky white'(Dupont powdercoat color).......
Has anyone had any experience powdercoating anything GPW?
Would 'sky white' be a good match to GPW?
Any info would be greatly appreciated....Thanks a lot

OKay.....I tried to make this somewhat easier by posting this link to the Dupont Website with different color chips. You have to change the 'Binder Type' to 'TGIC-Polyester 'and the select 'whites' to see 'Sky White'

I tried printing out the color chips and comparing them to my S but my printer is not giving me too much variance between the different whites.
