Why would you want to do this? Sounds like a daft thing to do IMO. The car was designed for a reason so that you have to stop and put the hood up.

Not for me, there's obviously a reason why Honda don't want you raising the roof on the move so I'll stick with them on this one.

It'd be handy at around 5-10mph in slow moving traffic, where applying the handbrake isn't possible. But I won't be modding my car. Too much risk of the wind catching it or something horrible knowing my luck!

Ive done this to my car too.

Im not too sure what the problem is really - YOU control how fast you are going when you are doing this....dont do it at 40mph and you're fine. There's nothing stopping the wind catching the roof when you are stationary either is there?

This is perfect for those times when you are rolling in traffic, and cannot come to a complete stop.

I havent clicked on the link - I know there are two versions of the mod going around - one where you disable the speed sensor, and another where you disable the handbrake sensor too.

FYI, i just put a male/female spade connector in the speed sensor wire (meaning its a reversible mod). I still have to pull the handbrake up one click to fool the car into thinking its at a standstill.

This mod works perfect at around 5-10mph as Ian stated...go on you know you want to do it!!
