Default Engine Light On

Has any one here ever had problem with engine light on ??
well mine suddenly just went on, i didnt do anything to the car..this really confusing.....can someone please help....if you experienced same thing and what the solution...??

Don't drive it anywhere but straight to your nearest Honda dealer.

Check all of the leads under the hood are connected properly especially your vacuum lines on the intake. If one of those comes loose it will throw a CEL and you need to reset the ECU after you fix it to get rid of the CEL.

As RR has insinuated it could be something worse so you're better off taking it in and if its a lengthy drive consider towing it

this really freaking me out......but the weird part is, when its on, i turn the engine off n turn it back on, the light off..but after approx 200m its turn back on again.......?!@#@!?@#?!?! experienced it b4 ??

i would love to go to honda dealer, but it will cost me more money.....so if its a simple mistake that we can fix ourself, y not right ??
btw anyone can suggest me which dealer to go??good one? im in melbourne

Well, depending on how far east you are I'd suggest in the following order............

Courtney & Patterson, Bell St, Heidelberg

Eastern Honda, Doncaster Rd, Doncaster

John Blair, High Street, Prahran

Ferntree Gully Honda, Burwood Hwy, Ferntree Gully

i just went to ASTORIA honda, and they quoted me that the knock sensor is error....they said some must has been damaged it.....well recently i just changed the clutch.could it be????.....
they said the sensor isnt mount properly, it sort of hanging around.....
does anyone here know where exatly the knock sensor is?? they told me near the header, but i coudlnt find it.....
thx for the addresses RR ...i might go to the another honda and c what they say...
