Default Arc Intake

Has anyone had this or heard anything about it. I noticed most people dont run this intake system, is there a reason?

i heard on this board that it is one of the best intakes available..
brings a lot of hp (dunno if it was low or high end of the rpm's though), or at least more than most intakes... dont take my word for it, i just read it in a thread a while ago..

Everything I've read leads me to believe there's no gain and sometimes even power lost with that intake setup. Sure looks nice though.

More like the complete opposite.

Not only does it promote excessive heatsoak which reduces power output, it's heavy and replacement filters cost quite a bit to replace.

ARC airbox chambers does wonders for turbocharged cars, but for natually aspirated cars especially Hondas, just about every other "big/popular" make would outperform this design.
