Default DC Sports Header

I ordered my DC Sports Header yesterday and they arrived today. I haven't gotten them installed yet...its still sitting in my garage. From opening the box and checking it out its a lot bigger than I imagine. Now you've got to remember this is the first car I've ever had that I began to modify The header is being installed this saturday by my brother in law. Sadly I will be in San Franciso for a short visit...mainly a partying thang (I'm in San Diego) First thing Sunday night I'm going to test it out. Hopefully my brother in law doesn't decide on racing every freak who revs on him. Last weekend he raced some old integra when I let him take my car out for a quick spin. As long as he doesn't break my car I don't really mind. Since his turbo accord comes in next week I'll be expecting to be able to take a drive in that Anyways...

Sorry, but I don't have access to get my car dyno'd so I can't really show you if theres a loss or gain.

I have the Comptech Exhaust and if there was a minimal gain there I didn't feel it. But I'll let you know of my initial impressions with it.

BTW has anyone else gotten theres yet?

HI Jaykkub,
i hope you 'll feel a difference between dc and stock...
for you and for me.
i've got HKS dual exhaust and haven't feel any increase when i put it on the car but i think header is more important for
torque and best dyno chart.final power is nothing if feeling is great!!
Let we know about your impression.

My brother in law works for a performance shop. He called one of his distributors and got it for me since they had it in stock. Not sure exactly where he got it though sorry. As for the pricing I'm not exactly sure about that either. I ended up getting a shift knob, the neuspeed stb and the headers all together which came out to be 475. I'm thinking that the headers were either high 200 or mid 3s. Most likely mid 3s now that I think about it.

It was actually low 3s. I ended up getting the Ceramic coated Headers...Not that much better than the group buy pricing (free delivery too), so I don't mind. Just cant wait to see how it feels this weekend.

Ok. I just got back from a weekend in San Francisco. While I was away my brother in law installed some things onto the stook. First was the Neuspeed STB, then the Momo Shift Knob, and then the DC Sports Header. He said it took him almost two hours because of some problem he ran into. Regardless, its installed. I came home from the flight and just went to the car to check out the goodies. I didn't take the car out for a spin because it was late, but I'll let you all know my 'impressions' of the changes that were made...tomorrow. (Monday)
