Here is my poor neglected car being left behind for the weekend
Seneca Rock is a sheer face of rock that rises from the earth as a thin plate in the hills of Eastern WV. You can actually straddle the summit of the rock and look 1900 ft down into the valley on either side. The ascent of the rock took about 4 hours and was done completely on traditional gear. No bolts.
View from the parking lot at the entrance to the park.
Here I am preparing to lead one of the easier climbs.
Sunset of the first night, from the first pitch of a climb called ecstacy.
Ascending the Green Wall on day two, straight to the summit baby!
Second pitch of the green wall a good perspective of the trees below.
Signing the Summit log, this formation is 3 feet wide at this point. 1900 feet straight down on either side. You could see the birds circling very far below.
Standing on the summit, VERY briefly.

For some reason the pictures in my album are not resizing... Sorry about that folks.
The weekend was a blast, this was my first time climbing trad at this level so it was very scary. But I am eager to do it again and get over some of my fear that was resulting from the need to rely on gear placed in cracks.
