Default REGISTER HERE for DragonBall Run!

It's here, the registration and "ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW" thread for the...

4th Annual DragonBall Run!

When: September 10th, 11th and 12th (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Where: Alcoa, Tennessee (headquarters at the Jameson Inn, Alcoa)

What: Annual Fall gathering of the S2000 Community to take on the Dragon (US129)

The Dragon is an 11 mile section of US129 that runs from the border of Tennessee into North Carolina. It boasts 318 curves in 11 miles and it surely has brought about a bit of attention for folks wanting to test the performance and handling of their sports cars, bikes and more.

It's become a tradition where we, as an S2000 community, join in making the run of the Dragon an event. And it is just that, a great time to meet fellow S2000 owners and enjoy some beautiful moutain scenery. Come on out and enjoy the Dragon in September as we celebrate our 4th annual gathering.

September 10th - DragonBall Run 2004 starts at 5pm. This will be the "sign-in" portion of the event. Signing your liabilty waiver, receiving your event packet, etc. Dinner will be on your own, however, there are several restaurants within walking distance from the Jameson Inn, Alcoa. They include O'Charley's, Texas Roadhouse, Atlanta Bread Company, Mashed Taters and Up the Creek. Other restaurants are within quick drives (less than 5 minutes) and include Cracker Barrel, Pizzeria Uno and more.

September 11th - The actual day of the event. A complete itinerary for the day's events will be included with your event packet (you'll pick this up on Friday during the sign-in portion of the event). On this day, we will enjoy great driving as a large group and later by smaller groups. Enjoying the Dragon and other area roadways, including the Cherohala Skyway and visiting Fontana Dam.

September 12th - The day of goodbyes! We begin to leave from another gathering and driving event. Folks will be washing their S2000's and others will be making plans to run the Dragon just "one-more-time." This is a great time to relax and spend some time with other drivers and enthusiasts before heading home.

Our headquarters hotel will be the Jameson Inn, Alcoa. 70 rooms have been reserved for this event at a discounted rate of $60 + taxes per night. Please be sure to use the code "Honda S2000 Club" when making your reservation. You will need to call the hotel directly and make reservations.
