i take it you were snapping the pics with those auxillary shutter button things right?

 

yep. it's a timer remote, so it shoots every 5, 10, or however many seconds i dial in.
it's a pretty comical setup, but it's cheap, solid and it works. now to mount it on the front, looking back...
