As I promised... myself and 3fiddyz set out to settle the rivalry and constant bickering once and for all...

Tonight... we raced...


but with a Twist... We had svtmach1 (jsep productions www.jsept.tv) there to film the whole thing

The setting:

We did this with my better half about a half mile ahead on cop watch- with radios...

Aaron- 3fiddyz: 2003 FairladyZ with plenum and intake- slight advantage- BUT... advantage neutralized with 200lbs Camera man

Joe- Joeking1978: 2002 Suzuka blue S2000- Stock! (with 18" SSR GT1's)

Damn, that was quick guys! The final conclusion...it's definitely a drivers race.

 

Derryck... on the first run... both cars were mic'd... sounded pretty ing sweet too!

On the 0-80... my mic was not on...


That suction on his plenum sounds badass though...!


The audio for the S2000 will come out your right speaker... the audio for the Z will come out of your left... (so if you're speakers are too close... you won't notice the difference! )

 

Awesome video.

I like the "settle the bickering" idea. This really shows that 350Z vs S2k (when close to stock) is driver's race. 1/2 car pull is pretty darn close.

I dig your rims too.

I really gotta "settle the bickering" between my brother's 02 bone stock WRX and my S. Maybe I'll get a short vid and post it.
