Default CEL Codes

Since my car is suffering all sorts of problems, I was hoping someone here had a listing of the various CEL codes and their meanings.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, Honda has a complete list, but they don't share well with others.

These are listed in the Helm manual and in most OBD II scanner instruction manuals. If your car is continually throwing a code, you should have such a scanner or take it in to your dealer to get it fixed.

A car that suffers from all kinds of problems BUT NOT throwing any codes would make knowing the codes useless. Is your car throwing a CEL?

Yeah - I'm the guy who has the lengthy problem description in the Technical section (bad idle = CEL = bent valve?).

I see. Well, whoever pulls the code will also be able to tell you what the code is. If not, then you can always post the code up here and I'm sure someone will look it up for you.
Heck, if you ever want to PM me the code and I'm around with my Helm manual, I'll tell you.

Yes, generic OBDII codes are listed on this and that website, and in an OBDII scanner manual, but those codes listed above are S2000-specific.
