Default Just so upset about the "Street Encounter forum"

Guys, why are people always try to just race people on straight lines and happy about "oh .. i beat a civic.. or STI... etc"

For me.. Straight line race is all about how much money u have dumped into the car.. or maybe 90% (of how much u have dumped into the car) and 10% of driver's skill

What's there to be proud of??

Bunch of kids talking trash. Just ignore it. Better they did it there than in this forum.

I agree, I don't see the appeal either.

Street racing is a rush all its own. Not to condone it or anything, but I gotta admit I am not immune to breaking it loose on certain roads at certain times (Nickerson AVE at around 3 AM?). Plus, it's a really cheap way to race...right up until you get your ticket.

Or you kill some innocent bystanders.

Moving traffic and pedestrians are far more interesting and challenging than wimpy little orange cones on a sterile closed course. (Pu$$y autocrossers.) Racing in school zones is a heck of a rush. Chance of getting caught by the police just adds to the excitement dude.

I'd better get back to my video game ... I'm the best street racer in the world.

No one is truly innocent.

Hey, how's this for a slogan: "Street racing: at least it's not as bad as drunk driving ... unless you are drunk and racing too"

Drunk drivers kill how many people? Street racers how many? Cel phone talking, Big Mac eating, cigarette smoking, drivers how many? Over zealous police officers how many?

Which is worse?
