The same airbox is used for all 00-05 S2k's. AP1, AP2 all 'em. You still have to cut the same stock pieces to fit the snorkel.
there's a strut bar that goes across in front of the radiator impeding any install. well i guess you can remove it completley but i assume it's there for a purpose
hmmm...funny managed to install my spoon snorkel on my 04 without the reinforcement bar getting in the way. I just had to "tease" the aircon piping a little thats all.

It should fit..mine does.
do you have pics of how you massaged it through. i want this thing too, but i am not sure if i will be able to get it installed as i am not good with tools. plus i thought our bumper opening is slightly lower than pre04's. i searched for a diy, but it is only for pre04's. there are instructions but no pics of the install, so i get a little unclear of what to dremmel off.
You will need to remove the radiator shield panel (and aircon panel). These are the black plactic pieces you see when you open the hood.
You will need to cut this to shape - it is EXACTLY the same as pre04 models. You then replace the dremeled panels once the snorkel is installed.
To install the snorkel in the 04, you just have to make sure that the snorkel feeds BEHIND the air lines (see pics). It isnt hard by any means. The bumper reinforcement bar doesnt really come into play as the snorkel falls well behind it.
do you have pics of what it looks like under? i removed the panel competely, don't plan to cut. the thing was that the snorkel was touching the bracket that holds the bar.
pics in the bumper grill would help alot thanks
