It is time to think about Christmas presents. I know some of you own the Honda S2000 "collectible" book (sequentually numbered). Is it worth the $50? Other than completing the "kit", is there anything in the book that is not mentioned/available elsewhere? Thanks.

I don't have it but I remember when some people first got it they were disappointed, especially at that price.

I have the book (#104) ... it's nice, but the price is kinda steep. It comes in a sleeve and had about 65 pages. The content is the same as what the dealers had in the ringed binder...so it's not anything different than what is in that.

Is it worth the 50 bucks? Tough call...but I never tried to return mine, it sits on my coffee table...

Mine is sitting on the coffee table as well. It is a nice book for the fanatic. $50 isn't so bad considering what some of us have paid over MSRP for the car!

I have the "collectible" S2000 book. It only has 28 pages and is definitely not worth $50. It feels "cheap" as well. On the other hand, I am still glad that bought it and I will probably appreciate it more as the years go by.

Oops, mine isn't 65 pages...it's marked by chapters and 6.5 is the chapter/page. It's probably about 30 pages...

Where do you get it? At the dealer?

I bought the S2000 book. A similar one was offered for the NSX when it first came out. I didn't get one. They are now worth a pretty penny at least to club members. It's a nice book but if $50 is going to hurt you then skip it.
