Default Guess who just drove a Dino?

I took the two pictures below.

What a sweet ride. The 6 cylinder revs to about 8500. So much about that car seems to be part of ours... I tend to think of it as a progenitor of the S.

Bwahahahaha!!! I didn't feel like pedaling, if that's what you're referring to, Jeff.

Gorgeous car! And the sound is really, really cool!

I hear you, paivag. I want another drive!

I'm a DA when it comes to sports cars. What is a Dino, and what does one look like?

A dino is a Ferrari, it was named for Enzo Ferrari's son who died at a young age. It has a 2.4 liter V-6 engine. It ran from 1969-1974. They came from the factory without any Ferrari markings on them at all however it is common to see them with Ferrari badges on them now since some owners have them put on during restorations. Beautiful machines.

I am "red" with envy. We have a neighbor that traded in his 308 GTS a couple of years ago for a Testarossa! I can onlly hope that when he comes down the street in front of my house that he is still warming it up. As he short shifts it, as I do my S until I get three bars, I shift at 3,000 RPM.
