Yep, just traded in my Boxster for a 2004 S2K.

Now why won't it let me post pictures of her?

I'm just curious, why did you discard (what looks like) a Boxster S in favor of an S2K?

Wondering because I considered the former before deciding on the latter.

Congrats on your purchase!

I'm also curious to know why you discarded a Boxster in favour of the S2k. Not that I would have done any different...but its always interesting to hear from someone who has experience with both cars.

Not an S, just a base Boxster with some upgrades. Reason for getting rid of it, MAINTENANCE!!!!!!...... it was killing me. within the last year I had it, I replaced main ECU, front and rear wheel bearings, o2 sensor, battery (had to be porsche of course) and rear tires. The final straw was when the check engine light appeared. I had it looked at by a reputable german repair shop nearby. They said it needed new injectors, at $300.00 a pop just for parts I got rid of it quick to say the least.

Welcome to the reliable sports car. My '05 Suzuka Blue S2000 is the 6th new Honda I have bought. I won't own anything else because of their reliability.

I have had four hondas before I got the porsche, (civic, 2 integra gsr's, rsx type s)
never had a problem with any of them. I guess the honda gods were punishing me.
I promise I will never stray again
