Muz products GB!
hey guys, I sent Muz a PM about putting together some kind of GB to get us a discount and save on shipping costs (from Australia).
here's the deal:
if we get enough interest to purchase 10 items, we get 10% off of the listed price.
15 items, 15% off.
+ reduced shipping costs since sent to one address (mine)
I'm gonna buy a Whiteline X-brace, and if there's enough interest maybe I can talk my mechanic into letting us use his lift for a group x-brace install (+ pizza?), followed up by a group drive on nearby twisties. (I haven't run this by him yet, so I'm not sure if he'll be able to, or what kind of discounted rate he'll be able to offer us... I'll call him if there's enough people buying x-braces)
If we get orders for 14 items, I'll buy a Trunk Lid Saddle Bag as well to put us over the top for the 15% discount. (which works out to US$168 after the 15% off for those of you who might be interested as well-- not a bad price, IMO)
remember, the prices are in Australian dollars! so don't freak out when you see the high prices. 1.00 AUD Australia Dollars = $0.76 US Dolllars. here's a handy currency converter.
and here's some example prices in US dollars (approx):
Whiteline X-brace: US$192 -- 10% off $172 -- 15% off $163
Trunk Lid Saddle Bag (non-leather): US$198 -- 10% off $178 -- 15% off $168
if we can get 15 items, $163 for such a highly regarded X-brace is a smokin hot deal.
check out this thread for testimonials of other Muz X-brace owners
this GB is good for any items in this thread so feel free to mix-n-match. (but that thread is only offering 5% off, so reply in this thread for the Bay Area GB pricing)
since I'm organizing this, I'll have everything shipped to my house to save on shipping costs.
if you're interested, please reply to this thread. if there's enough interest, I'm thinking it might be best to go ahead and let each person order through Muz's website and you can put my address as the shipping destination, and/or otherwise reference this thread. otherwise, I can collect peoples' $$$ and make just one big order, but that's a real hassle and generally people get nervous when they hand me wads of cash, I dunno why.
I'll point Muz to this thread so he can let us know what'll work best.

next time...Ash, if we get enough people for 15+ items, are you in for $49 convex mirrors?
dammit! I just received my convex mirror & window protector too. Shiet!
oh wells...
I'm not sure if this works for the GB, but don't forget to use 900RPM for a possible additional discount
I think it was good for 5% off.
