Default Re-Newed Sponsorship!

Got some great news for all Gateway members. I have met with the General Manager of Ed Napleton last week and got approval for sponsoring our Gateway S2000 club. They are willing to do much more than what I initially expected.

Will be meeting with the Sales Manager, Parts Manager and Service Managers next week to iron out the details. I am anticipating the following:

Reduced Labor
Reduced Parts
Fleet price on purchase of new vehicles
Free Accessories (caps, shirts, coffee cups...)
Free Oil changes

Probably some other stuff as well.

Will let you know how things turn out.

Great work Mike! Let me know when you have the details ironed out so that I can get them working for me!

This is really great! Is it too soon to mention to potential new members?

Never too soon to mention and/or bring new members on board!

OK Mike, since you had your car out in the cold...

Did you experience any difficulty shifting, especially into first? Since my fluid change I've noticed that the cold transmission doesn't like to engage first, and is a little recalcitrant going into 2nd gear. Once warm, no such issues. I'm also getting vibration through the shifter that I never noticed before at over 2K RPM. Ever notice things like this since you went to Redline fluid?

I have not, but Alex has... Symptoms seem exactly the same as Alex reported when we changed out his fluid as well. Here this.

I think that this is a normal symptom of Redline, but will need to do some checking to confirm

I haven't had the problems you guys have had. I do notice that there doesn't seem to be any difference going from 1st to 2nd. But it does seem smoother in the higher gears, especially downshifting from 5 to 4, and 4 to 3rd.

I have to let mine warm up or its it's really rough. After a few minutes it's fine though. I also only have problems in 1 and 2.
