In case no one has been informed, Pollo Tropical on Bird Road has been getting very popular lately (so packed that people start to park in la carreta), there has even been film crews from tuner shows filming out there. The police don't seem to be an issue since from what I have seen they just come in at around 12:00 or so to kick everyone out but with no conflict. The usual group is just me, willy, and Dariel but i was wondering if there was anybody else who wanted to join us to chill and check out some of the crazy rides that show up. When it's time to leave we usually head out to the Denny's on 8th street, and end the night there......

P.S. I am just checking to see who would like to show up with the rest of us for this thing, since we always try to go every week, and are going to be there anyways. Would be nice to have a nice group drive out there together in a big group to hang out......

The last time this was opened.. it was in direct contention w/ a Hooters meet. Much more of a cooperation issue than it is stiffiling of a new idea.

This past thursday I went to 137th and 8th found nothing then went to 8th and 87th and nothing again just when I was ready to head home, I thought to myself what the heck lets try bird and 87th.......whoa! Everyone was there.....I mean like people are now parking across the street at arbetter(hot dog place) and at shop next to it, its insane how many cars show up.....I think the cops were just trying to consolidate everyone into one spot because like Revs9k 01 said its definitely bigger now. I will be there but for an hour or so on Thursday......

 

Well it seems that we have something going here lets see if we get a nice amount of people and see if we do a drive out there!!!!!!!

Im always there with Willy and Han, sometimes Carlos and Jose passes from time to time. I like it because I always go with my girl cousin and friends and spend a couple of hours with them talking and joking around. Last Thursday, I even saw Armando pass by. The place gets really packed lately but the cops never had an issue; once, a state trooper even parked with us and spend the entire night there with no problems. Hopefully it will not turn into a cow range anytime soon.

We need a few more S2000s to show up. Im always there at 10 P.M.

 

At what time do you guys usually meet up? If you have to park so far, how can people see your car? :-p

 

well im guessing that most go at 10, but maybe this week we could be there at 9 so we can get some good parking and get some pollo while we wait for things to get fun. how bout that guys?????????
