Default Cage and Dry Sump update / pics

Well its been slow going the last couple months but alot of progress has been made the last couple of weeks. The mounting brackets for the dry sump pump are nearing completion. The cage has a few more bits and then it'll be done. Next will be mounting of the drysump tank in the passenger footwell a installation of the firecharger.

Here are a couple pics along with a link to the album with more pics.

Notice the cage is gusseted to the A-Pillar and the OEM Dash bar.

Here is a link to the album...

Looking like a proper race car. What happened to the cylinder head to have to be welded by the VTEC solenoid?

With the initial prototype version of the Comptech SC the bracketing was such that alot of vibration was being transmitted to the head thru the VTEC selenoid bracket. This resulted in a crack in the head at one of the selenoid mounting holes. Comptech repaired it by welding / filling it in.

I'll ask because I'm sure Jeremy is going to...

Got any pics of the engine room? I see the forward tubes are going through the firewall

I wish we could but that's not allowed in Touring. It's Ok for HC. I'd still like to see the pics.

The lower forward tubes are welded to the fire wall. They dont go all the way to the engine bay. The upper forward tubes are triangulation to the oem dash bar
