Thumbs up Electric Supercharger?

I was searching for something totally different and ended up on this website

http://www.esuperchargers.com/index.html

http://www.esuperchargers.com/supercharger...er-vortech.html

Is it another gimmick?

This is an enquiry about product information and doesn't belong in UTH as per:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=247214
Also, it has been posted on the forum a few times already. Perhaps a search will find those threads.
Moving to S2000 Talk.

sure, they provide air flow, but the thing you need in forced induction is air PRESSURE. You would need like 1000W to really do that, and your car's electircal system can't handle it and the blower would be large and loud.

bottom line, they don't work. You MAY see a fraction of a pound of boost, but no more.

gimmick.

Try imagining the sound of a vacuum cleaner turning on every time you started your car. Even if you gained 10hp, the humiliation isn't worth it.

I duct taped a 195mph leaf blower to the intake once. I took off and never really felt any difference. However, after about 100 feet, the cord pulled out of the socket and I couldn't continue the experiment.

I thought I was the only one to try that before. I took out the electricity to everyone on my street.

LOL. I can see how that would go at a meet if it did work:

"excuse me fellas, I gotta start my blower first" then continue to pop the hood and tug the start cable a few times. That would be hillarious!

Does anyone know where I can find a 1/4 mile long extension cord? I'll test out the leaf blower thing for ya and get back to ya.
