Default STOLEN SEATS AND INTERIOR FROM 2000 S2000 RED

I came home from a wedding around 1.30AM last night in the groom's Expedition (being the best man, I had to drive everyone.) I looked at my car, where it was parked in front of my house, and it looked great. At 6AM, my sister's boyfriend called me, and said to come outside (he was just leaving). Both my car doors were open, and the roof was slashed. I looked inside, and the seats were gone. Lucikly, it didn't rain last night.

This is the second time my car has been vandalized in the past 5 months and I know it's become a target probably by the punk kids who live down the street (but I can't do anything because I have no proof). The first time, they damaged the covertible top frame, cut the top, and tried taking the stereo and steering wheel.

So I have a favor and a question. First, if anyone sees red leather seats from a 2000 S2000 being sold locally, please let me know so I can give the information to the detective working this case.

Secondly, I procrastinated in getting an alarm after the first time, but it'll be the first thing I do when I get my car back. Any suggestions? I've been told the Clifford 2 way pager. Thanks everyone.

Damn dude I definetly FEEL YOUR PAIN. I've been in that situation and all you want to pretty much do is Find them and KICK their asses. Don't be surprised though when lovely MDPD doesn't do jack. I know as soon as I got my car back from the dealer (I took mine to Maroone Honda off 57th & Palmetto they did an AWESOME job! ) i went straight and got an Alarm. Mine isn't a pager one, but i feel it does a good job and serves it's purpose. Also you should consider investing in Seat locks. BEST $$ you'll ever spend!

Still can't get out of my head what MDPD told me since they didn't show up to my house to take a look at the car or file a police report. "If you want us to finger print the car you'll have to bring it in to the station"... My reply "HOW THE F*** Do you want me to drive it there WITH NO SEATS!!!"

GOOD LUCK, it should be about 2 weeks to get it back as good as new.

I live in the Kendall area right off US-1 inbetween Dadeland Mall and The Falls, across the street from Pinecrest. 33176 ZIP. I'll be looking around different forums and on ebay, thanks.

I don't know WTF they were doing, but they're really careless. Last time they broke in, they stepped on the frame and bent the rods. And it _was_ raining.

i have the clifford matrix 2.5, make sure you spend some extra cash to get a good install. an alarm only does so much, but this one sets off an alert to the receiver so you know that someone is up in yo stuff, even after the battery has been cut in your vehicle, then you can call the cops, or your boys or whatever and regulate em. actually any DEI should do (python, viper, clifford) they are all the same made by directed electronics, just different remotes.

here is worthams:

That really sucks.
When you get your car back, you must get seat locks put in. PM Kodokan_4 now to get the info on it.

By the way, I'd suggest modifying this title so that more people will know what it's about. If you put something about seat theft, you'll have more people visit & more people on the lookout for them online!
