Default Z06 v Boxster coupe

I know there's already a Boxster coupe thread (baby 911), but I wanted to follow up on a point I made regarding the Z v the BC

We don't know the price, but I assume they'll be in the ballpark, let me just throw out a guess:

Z = $65K
BC = $55K

So (I'll assume) the BC comes with $10K in the trunk. NOTE: If they come in at the same price, as some people have speculated that may make a world of difference. Conversely it's possible for $72K v $52K (another world of difference)

But for the sake of this argument, let's go with the Z costing $10K more.

Some might argue, the Z06 which is around 5" longer and 5" wider is less of a fun point and shoot, run-about. Less of a tossable toy.

Also some might say, heck 290hp in a 2900 lb car isn't bad, you can have a lot of fun and you can explore it's limits (easier) on the street than a 500hp 200 mph supercar.

I'm not saying 500hp isn't better, just a lot of time you'll be holding back, while the BC maybe you can let-er rip a lot of the time, esp. on a curving road.

Boxster. There's more to cars than trying to prove how big your wang is.

If only I could find some way to attach the LS7 to my wang...that would make the Z06 totally worth the money.

I personally would pay the extra 10k for the Z06. I think I would enjoy the boxster, but for 55k I would feel like I need more.
