Stock Radio AUX Connection
I'm a newbie to this forum, just got a '05, so please direct me to a thread on this question if it has already been covered. Thanks.
Does the stock radio support an AUX connection to connect directly with a satellite plug & play tuner? If so is they any special hardware required? Any documentation on how to pull the radio and "best practice" where to put the tuner and antenna?
Thanks,
Steve

there is a DIN plug in the trunk that is designed to be hooked to an XM tuner box or CD changer, or both. It is selected on the stock headunit by pushing the AUX button.
It can be converted into an AUX jack with one of these:

I'm asking Doug Newhard on this thread

how he is threading an audio cable from the passenger compartment into the trunk for hookup to a similar component. I might be doing this with a Roady2, or I might just get the OEM XM tuner box. Not yet sure.
