Default Experience with rear anti-bumpsteer kit

I know there is a specific thread on this kit, but there are not many comments as to personal expierences with it.

By now, I assume that more than a few people have installed the kit. From what I have read on the subject, it is more useful for lowered cars.

Mine is not lowered ('00), and despite a bigger roll bar in front, SA Konis and an UK type alignment the rear end still likes to step out, in a negative way, both on the street and on the track.

It would be very useful to all to if those who have installed it would share their expierences with it. Did they find the car loose before they installed it, and to what extent did the kit impact this?

Also, knowing if you cars are modified would be useful, and if you track the car or not.

Thanks,

Guy

Dosen't anyone have ANYTHING to say about the performance of the kit?

All input would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Guy

Well, I have a set and have been on the track a couple of times since the install. To be honest, I can't really tell the difference on the track running R-compound tires. However, my time has improved significantly compared to a year ago when I had the same suspension/tires/rims setup minus the kit.

That being said, on the street with worn street tires, I can tell the amount of bumpsteer has decreased to almost undetectable.

I ran for the first time this past sunday at Willow, and I also couldn't 'tell' the difference. It has been almost 3 months since I've been to the track and I was much faster than the last time I was at willow which was in September.
Lot of things have changed, so don't know what each item did.

No they don't work at all. In fact, I think they added about 2 seconds a lap. I'd remove them if I weren't so lazy....

Craig (lying cheating bastard)

Seriously, they worked good enough for me to beat JP at Streets

It's either not very many kits were actually sold, or some people would prefer not owning up to having installed them. Could it be some people do not declare this modification so as not to change class?

Do we know how many kits were sold?
