Let's look a few years into the future:Mikey, Debs
in Philly. (Why are they taking the bus? (BTSOOM*) A blind man is also waiting for the bus. The bus pulls up to the bus stop. It's very crowded. Debs and the kids get on the bus, but Mikey and the blind man get left behind. So they decide to walk. The blind man tap-tap-taps his cane on the sidewalk. Apparently, the cane has some sort of metal tip, because it makes a very loud noise. Mikey is starting to get irritated but, being a very patient, polite man, he doesn't say anthing for a long time. Finally, exasperated, Mikey says "Can't you put some rubber on the end of your stick?" The blind man replies "Hey, if you'd put some rubber on the end or your stick, we'd be riding on the bus right now."
