Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance
Harry,
The schedule of events on the their website says that the 6th and 7th are the shows (d'Italia on the 6th, and d'Elegance on the 7th).
I also think that we'll be out at Waterford prior to the shows as well. We'll all definitely have to get together.

I just got this email from the organizers of the SCAMP mini-concours in the park:
__________________________________________________ ________________
This year on July 29th from 6-9 pm; the SCAMP Concours in the Park will be celebrating its 21st year and we are inviting you to join us in downtown Clarkston to celebrate the SCAMP benefit.
We are looking for many show quality cars to participate in the park car show. If you are interested in participating please send a photo of your car, a completed application form and a minimum donation of $25.00, payable to SCAMP. Please note that donation receipts will be issued to any donation over $100.00. All application forms are available on the web. Again this year we are excepting donations for the silent auction and social in lieu of the entry fee.
There will be an escorted cruise from Canterbury Village. Staging starts at 4:00 pm, the cruise will leave promptly at 5:00 pm. We encourage all car show participants to take advantage of this great cruise. It is a very scenic route and there are no stops! You will be pre-registered for the car show at Canterbury and when you arrive at the park you will be directed in to the show with no stops. Please note if you have a classic car and are not entered in the car show you are still welcome to participate in the cruise. There will be special parking for all cruise members in the parking lot adjacent to the park. Participation is free, donations for SCAMP are encouraged.
The popular ice cream social will be complimented by mac and cheese, brats, hot dogs, delicious sandwiches and beverages, so come hungry!
Again this year the silent auction will be conducted and we will have Goodyear tires, artwork, signed memorabilia and books. This auction is not just for the automotive enthusiast either; there are dinner gift certificates and several additional items to add interest.
We look forward to seeing you at the event and thank you for supporting Clarkston SCAMP!
Please forward this note to all automotive enthusiasts that would like to participate.
Regards,

My daughter flew in from FL for the weekend so I had to hang out........... did anyone attend any of the weekend events?
A major bonus was seeing several old warbirds fly by, as it seems some were using Whitmore Lake as a turn around point from the big fly-in at Willow Run
