Thieves strike in Welllington FL
Well I woke up this morning having no idea that i would find my top slashed.
When i opened my door I saw my seats, shift knob, panasonic headunit, radar detector, sunpas(for tolls) all stolen. I'm still amazed. These guys were definatly professionals. It also happened to rain last night, so now my car is soaked. They also opened my trunk and took my infinity Basslink that i had in the trunk.
I'm a little surprised that they didn't take my VAFC though. What BS! I F##king hate thieves.
I have absoluty no clue who it would be. I watch my rearview mirror like a hawk to make sure no one follows me. My only guess is that it was just someone that drove around scouting out cars to break into.
I'm waiting for the insurance claims people to call me back.
Here are some pics that i took.

Sorry man... Another in a long line of So Fla Thefts. Do you think they'd be dumb enough to use your sunpass tho? Doesn't that system photo cars passing thru without sunpass or with no credits left? I'd follow up with police on that. No need to flame me if that's not how it works. I've never used one and don't know the details...
Dude, that sucks so bad. I feel for you. I just had my scion broken into about 2 weeks ago. they broke a window and took about $1600 worth of stereo equip (my insurance will only cover up to $1000 in audio equip, plus I had a $500 deductable), and my ipod that I left in the glove box (cuz it was hooked up to my alpine hu). Did you have an alarm??
red seats seem to be a popular item in florida, is wellington south florida?
you are the 3rd person i have heard of this year. and i believe all the cars hit were berlina/red. fcuking bastards!
sorry man. post in the south florida area and see what the other peoples updates are.

Unfortunatly, no I don't have an alarm, but thats the first thing im getting when i get my car back is one of those alarms with a proximity sensor and a remote that vibrate or something when someone gets to close.

That sucks, I feel your pain and I hope you get everything back together soon.
What it strikes me is how easy it seems to remove the seats like that. Is there anything we can use to protect them? I read somewher about seat lock but can't find the post now....
Sorry again man.
