Default Tan for Black Interior Swap

Thanks to tabach0y273 - who played the role of donor to my Berlina...
to Billman 0f MetroNYC - who played the role of Master mechanic & friend...
and to me - playing the role of donor to the GPW & for initiating the trade...

We swapped tabach0y273's 04 Tan interior for my 04 Black interior.

IMHO - both cars have benefited beautifully...

Before...

During....

After...

OMG...that looks sooooooooooooo much better. Why is Honda so lame as to offer Tan the ONLY color for GPW!?!?!? You think they'll change that in 2006?

The black/tan looks really sharp. If they'd offered that combination from the factory, I would probably have gotten black instead of silverstone.

Thanks Nate and Billman!! Glad you guys made it home ok.

If anyone wants to do this, I would recommend the swap. With the right tools and a free afternoon, it's pretty simple. Just make sure the person you get the donor interior from doesnt have vomit residue with hints of pee in the mixture all over the carpets and seats- thanks Nate for making me scrub and scrub!

The black and tan looks really awesome in person. I think it gives the S a modern twist to the word classic, ferrari-style. The all black look is nice but it doesnt give off that stylish depth the tan exudes. Now your car rocks Nate! IMHO, repainting the calipers black will make it look even better!!

The tan in GPW just looked classic. The black interior makes my car look and feel more sporty now and does a great job of complimenting the exterior. I think I sat in the car (while it was parked in the garage) for like an hour- I just really love the new look!

Probably not cuz production of the S2000 will be cancelled at the end of this year
