$462K for 280 HP???
Can I buy 280 HP in a G35 for $32K?
(I know it's kinda weak argument but they should make it stronger for something so expensive)

The changes to the JGTC Honda NSX race cars were apparently so fundamental that Honda had to make a certain number of road legal vehicles to comply with the JGTC rules. Only five NSX-R GT models will be made (production will start in August) and all of them had already been sold.

Once again showing how the NSX is in the catagory of elite cars such as Ferrari. Which always answers the question why someone would buy a $400000 Ferrari over a Z06 Corv.

Looks fake to me. The rear 3/4 shot shows an air intake that isn't connected to anything. Looks like a bad photoshop job to me. Is there an actual Honda press release on this car? If not then I call BS.

I LOVEE the NSX-R, but that one right there just looks kinda weird. I dont like the front of the car from a side profile...that bumper/lip thing just looks soo weird. And that single intake on the top is also kinda weird...

Guess I'll have to look for another car to buy for 500K now

And people thought the A-spec kits were a rip-off.

Regarding the air scoop, one article I read says it's to "cool the engine bay." Has zero to do with engine intake.

I've yet to see anything official from Honda about it. So I'm still not convinced it's not a hoax. It appears to be nothing more than an NSX with a mild body kit - I'm not up on the JGTC rules, but it most race series I'm familiar with this would do NOTHING to help you comply with homologation rules. But I can't find the JGTC rules...

Anyway, from a purchaser's perspective, this has got to be one of the stupidest things you could ever do. IMO.

Eh, all cars are sold out already. The reason they made this car was b/c of stricter rules defining what cars are allowed to race.

Performance-wise, the car is approxomately the same. I dunno why they couldn't stick turbos in it like its racing-coutnerpart.
