Brake duct pics, ideas.
Greg or Nick, I know one of you guys posted pictures of the brake ducts done by King.. could you post them again or point to the last post? It is one of those winter projects I am trying to prepare for.
Anyone have good suggestions or ideas for opening the fake ducts and making them real? Brake cooling is something I would like to have working for track ventures.
Nick, it looked like you have the solution but in several searches I can't find the pictures.

I've developed some carbon fiber ducts, they've been on my car for the past 7 months and will officially become available very soon.
I'm actually sort of surprised that you've missed all of the discussions we've had in the past about the bulletproof brake ducts. Email me for the details.

Here are a shot...not a very good one.
But the ducting went into the shield on the back side of the rotor...which I unfortunately don't have pictures of. King did a great job of cutting the shielf to allow direct wind cooling of the rotor via the tubes.
BTW, if you track the S2000, this is an essential mod. I will DEFINITELY be doing this over the winter. Hands down, no questions asked. IMO, it's the top braking mods you can do to the S2000...
Here is the pic that I have anyway:

Hi Chris,
Sorry we (Greg and I) don't have more pictures of the brake ducts. We meant to take more photos for the board, but quite honestly, while changing the brake pads of over three vehicles we sort of... well, forgot.
I'll have pictures up soon, via Greg, since I'm so computer illiterate.
So what are y'all doin' down in Dallas these days? I'll be down there in a couple of days, anyone want to get a Shiner at some local dive?

I really want something to cool the brakes as well. I was seriously worried about them at one of the late summer events here. The wheel temp. was at least 400 degrees, and that was a foot or two away from the wheel.
A master-mechanic friend of mine tells me even if you don't boil the brake fluid, those kinds of temperatures are not good for the other components in the wheels (and their lubricants) .
For any ducting system I'd want to be able to securly plug the ducting holes for everyday use. No sense getting road grit and water into the brakes when you don't need the cooling.
I remember something from an old post about the ducting not helping much with the rotor shield there. Would you have to remove the sheild, and if so what ramifications would that have?
