Default After almost 2 years she's gone...

Well the unthinkable happened last weekend....My Beloved S is totalled. After almost 2 years of ownership she was put into a wall on 495 last sunday. To tell you the truth I have no clue what happened. I was pacing along with traffic at about 65mph i decided to switch over ONE lane to the left and the rear end stepped out and went straight into a jersey barrier, after hitting it head on i came back out into traffic doing a 360 and then the back end was smashed into the wall. My only explanation is bald S02's...I was in the hostpital for 2 days and treated for whiplash and some tenderness in the spine, but I'm ok but i just never thought this day would come. Well i just wanted to share with s2ki.com because you all have been a great help with everything and an amazing community but i dont think i'll be leaving cause im in the market for another S...so if anyone knows any for sale if you could drop me a line. Thank you.

Chris

That's horrible! I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you, but I'm glad that you're up and doing well now. Good luck getting another S, and be careful!

Damn, sorry to hear that. At least youre in good condition now... No matter how much we love our cars, they are still replaceable, so luckily youre alright and can replace your car. Good luck with looking for a new S, I'll keep my eyes open in case I see any

Someone else in the DC area lost their S last night. It's in this thread - https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=280703

Was it wet when you were driving? Glad you're ok.

Wow - sorry to hear that - I was fortunate to learn the bald tire lesson in another car without any injuries. I am glad to hear you're not taking off just yet
