Official!3rd Annual Spring Opener BBQ: UBAB3
What: S2000-only spring opener BBQ (UBAB = Urmil's Big A$$ BBQ)
When: May 7, 2004, 11:30AM - ?
Where: Algonquin, IL
This is the annual BBQ that brings in the season that allows us S2000 owners to enjoy life behind the wheel of our cars. The purpose is to get everyone together again, meet new people, and introduce the new owners to the rest of the Chicago-area crowd.
Typically, this has been a fairly large event that has lots of food, fun, and driving. Be prepared for it all.
This will be a pot luck affair with a list of things needed below. If you plan to attend, please sign-up for something to share with the rest of us. Also, let's start up a running list of people that are committed to attending....to sign yourself to the list, copy the "Participation" list with the people under it. Paste it into your response thread and add your name into that list. That way, the list will get subsequently updated as each person adds his/her own name. Regarding signing up for BBQ items, please just state what you will be bringing from the list that's still available and I will edit the original post.

Hot dog buns to match
Charcoal (2 bags)
Events
Eating!!!
Paintless dent removal (if there is enough interest on this)
Window tinting (I will try to have a tint guy there)
Swap meet
Drive to Lake Geneva and Snake Rd.!
I'm suggesting that everyone contributes from $5 to $8 worth of food/supplies.
Let's keep the food simple and plentiful. At past UBABs, we had just enough food to last us from 11:30AM to 1:30 AM (yes, the next morning!!!).
Last time I also requested BYOB...we can either do a BYOB again, or we can keep it a "dry" event. It's up to you...but please keep it sane, we do plan to go for a drive.
***ATTN PAST S2K OWNERS***: ANY PREVIOUS OWNER OF AN S2K, THAT HAS BEEN TO A PREVIOUS CHICAGO S2K MEET WITH AN S2K, IS MORE THAN INVITED. This doesn't mean roll in with you and your neon buddies, but if you're like a few of us, and have changed cars since the first mod meets, you're more than welcome to come.

Ill be bringing hot dogs...ice and some soda also
