Hello again,

Just want to let you all know about a get together taking place in early June. I'm driving my S up from Tulsa, OK. I'm hoping to see some of you there!

When and where? Saturday, June 4th at Heritage Park, 16050 Pflumm, Olathe, Kansas. Shelter #9

THE PLAN - Meet at Heritage Park, BBQ, take some photos, then possibly head out to KCIR (Kansas City International Raceway), group drive/cruise.

All Honda's welcome! Insights, CRXs, CRVs, Odysseys, Integras, RSXs, TSXs, RLs, TLs, CLs anything and everything HONDA. Bikes, Cars... (Lawnmowers... wait, what?)

BYOB. We will simply cook anything you want so bring what ever you want cooked. Things to consider bringing: Pop, Dogs, Burgers, Chips, Salsa/dips, Coolers w/Ice... etc...

We're expecting a rather large turnout. Again, all Hondas welcome. We will be taking photos and possibly heading out to the track (KCIR) afterwards.

 

What time does all the fun start?

frans2k, you don't have another Honda? This is meet for all Hondas. Doesn't have to be an S.

 

Sorry, I am confused R U meeting @ SMP to eat and visit then go to kcir to watch the races Or r u going to Tulsa I have never been to kcir (or any races besides autocross) what is it like? What time do they start racing? etc.

 

Sorry, I meant I'm driving my S up from Tulsa, OK (I will edit that here in a minute). Yes, we're meeting at Shawnee Mission Park to meet, greet and eat! That may go on until as late as 9:00 pm. Not sure what afterwards.

As for KCIR, I've never been there so I'm not sure. I think it's a drag strip (go fast in a straight line for a 1/4 mile). Those plans are still up in the air as of right now. I'll post updates as they become available.

When - June 4, 2005. The grill will be fired up at about 2PM. So this is our official start time... 2PM.

Who - Anyone who owns a honda. This meet is not model or year specific. If you own anything with the beloved H emblem on it... come on out. Yes, this means you with those Acura's that have Honda engines in them.

What - Just a BBQ, not a car show or racing event. It's simply a huge plan for a giant BBQ. You bring what you want cooked; JT cooks. We will have a photographer and hopefully a model or three available to snap professional shots of your car and you, I guess.

Sounds like fun. Ill have to keep that weekend open.
