I've heard that middle eastern man was shot and died in AZ. I also heard some middle eastern lady was ran over by a car. These crimes have to be stoped. I feel for these guys because I am Asian. And if those terrorist acts were commited by Asian, then I am sure I would be in their shoes right now. I'll be worried if my mom was okay or if I am going to get shot walking around. I hate it when people say stuff like "Let's kill all those Indians." I think these events brings out both good and worst in people.

There is a lot of misplaced anger and frustration these days, and unfortunately, those who appear to be of middle eastern descent, regardless of citizenship, loyalty, etc. are being treated as second class citizens by some of the public. This is wrong, and as good Americans, we all need to keep an eye out for such actions. This is not the time to start dividing ourselves based on predjudice, fear and ignorance. The last thing we want is to repeat what we did to our Japanese American citizens after Pearl Harbor. But it could happen if we do not keep up our vigilence.

Tragedies like this are suppose to unit American's. And, just like the American-Japanese in WWII, we sometimes can't recognize who's American. I'm Irish a few generations back but I rented a Shiek Halloween custom for an upcoming party. With what's happened I think I'll trade it in -- it may not be safe! Damn shame. I agree, I feel sorry for those folks as they will catch a bunch of crap they don't deserve.

Unlike the majority of ANY group, the perpetrators of this heinous act were extremists. Your comments, although tongue-in-cheek, could be construed as highly offensive to "other" cultures and you should probably reword it, as a SMART ASIAN I am certain that is not quite what you meant.

Besides, I've met many Asians that are NOT that smart...heck I see on in the mirror all the time!

 

No excuse! These perps are nothing but criminals with criminal intent. They are just waiting for an excuse to commit such crimes. It is who they are inside. If it wasn't a Hindi it would have been an Asian. If it wasn't and Asian it would have been a Black. If it wasn't a Black it would have been a whiteman. It doesn't matter, they are all the same. Don't kid yourself, these people are just as evil as OBL. Hate crimes stem from any race, creed, color or ethnic origin it knows no borders.

I've dealt with these type of crimes for so many years you realize that these people will just find other criminal ways of venting their anger. Their physiology allows them to justify their actions and this tragedy is just the vent. It sickens me to hear and see such things. I would say it angers me but them I would just be lowering myself to their level of understanding.

God help them if I catch them!
