Default Grinding while turning at low speeds

I recently purchased my second S2k. (05 berlina)
At slow speeds when turning, i hear this groaning sound that I don't remember hearing on my '01. Is this an '04~'05 specific sound? Any idea? Sounds like it's groaning.
Thanks in advance!

My '04 doesn't make any groaning noises when turning at low speeds. Not really sure what kind of sound you're talking about, but I don't hear any extra noises when turning at low speeds versus when I'm going straight.

I'd say check the power steering belt, but since we have electric steering I don't even know what to tell you ???

Maybe have the dealer take a look since you're still under warranty.

My 05 doesn't make that noise. Good luck ... at least it is under warranty so you can give the problem to the dealer.

Do you have any aftermarket parts?
Especially anything related to tires, wheels, or suspension?

I know exactly what sound you are talking about and my 05 does it too. I had an 01 that didn't do it, but it was one of the first new sounds I noticed when I picked up my 2005...

It sounds like something is rubbing. Maybe you could get a friend to walk along and inspect your car as you turn. Get them to look into the wheel wells and look for rubbing of tires against the walls.

Can you describe more about where it is coming from? (Ie. front/rear/left/right)
Can you feel any kind of vibration or pulsing that accompanies this sound?
If you are moving at a brisk pace when you turn, does the sound persist?

The more information, the better.
