Default Mileage on your S2k?

I'm just curious how many miles everyone is putting on their car. I bought my Black '01 June 12th and I already have 11000 miles on it. At THIS rate I'll have to buy new tires 4 times a year.

I used to worry about that, as I've put quite a few miles in a short period of time. But hey...you forked out ~35 K for the beauty, you only live once...so drive it and enjoy it. In my case, there is NO FEELING quite like having the top down, music loud, and just crusing. The best stress therapy I've ever had....

Oh Trust me I love every single mile I've gone!! And you are right, the best stress reliever there is especially when some kid in an Integra pulls up with his G/F and I blow him away. Also, thanks for the tip on the searches XViper.

I got her (S2000) in March and I just put 9,000 miles on her last week. I will let her rest some this Winter.

Got mine in May and I've been working on getting some mileage because of upcoming modifications. Just turned 3500 last weekend. It's a weekender.

Well, I have 1200 miles on my S2K in 2 1/2 months. I feel I drive it a lot, but the mileage doesn't seem to support that. Why? I only drive for pleasure. Why you might ask.

I walk to a commuter train for my commute to Chicago three days a week. If you eliminate the daily commute, how many miles do you drive during the week, other than errands, etc. Not many! But those pleasure driven miles are all glorious miles. It's running little errands and begging for the chance to run one. I suprise my wife when I say, "Honey, I'll go do that (or go there) for you."

I figure I could keep this car for ten years and have less than 30K miles on it. It doesn't see rain or snow and is kept in a heated garage. When winter comes, the miles will sadly go down.

Keep it for ten years? Hmmmm? Who wants to keep it ten years? I want a new one, too And maybe soon!

Got mine the first week of August and have ~4k miles. This will drop off in the winter however, when it is in hiding and only taken out occasionally.

My past experience shows typical high mileage when new, then more stable. Of course, the snow (BLAHHH) will keep miles down some.
